Bianca + Colin | Aria Beach House Fort pierce, Florida Wedding

I swear I have the BEST 'how I met my client' stories! This one is no different. I met Bianca over 5 years ago when I was just getting started in photography. I shot a mini session for her and we stayed in contact via Facebook all these years later. As soon as her and Colin got engaged she contacted me about shooting their wedding. I was ecstatic to say the least! Bianca is one of the SWEETEST and most easy going girls I have ever met. Oh and she is ridiculously beautiful too! When we shot their adorable engagement session I just knew their wedding wasn't going to disappoint- it was so insanely beautiful.

Bianca and Colin reached out to me on advice on venues in their early planning stages. They wanted something beachy and somewhat "destination" so it would feel more like a nice vacation with their guests more than just a one day event. I suggested renting a beach house near St. Augustine for the week, one that would accommodate 50 or so guests and would be able to host a ceremony site and smaller reception area. When I showed up at The Aria House my jaw dropped. This was over and beyond my wildest dreams for a "quaint beach wedding". This was true beach luxury and these guys did it up! I was amazed walking around this private mansion with it's grand twirling staircase, wide windows, commercial grade kitchen, 7 bedrooms and balconies galore overlooking the vast minty ocean. And might I add an illusion pool?! Oh it was simply blissful. And get this. The price for a 4 day stay is LESS than most venues for 1 day! Interested in planning a destination wedding that houses your guests, your ceremony site and plenty of space for a tented reception? Then you HAVE to check out this gorgeous private piece of heaven. Oh and then you HAVE to hire me of course to shoot it. :)

After I picked up my jaw I instantly felt calm. The whole vibe of the day was low key, relaxed, and very, very intimate and sweet. Their precious family and friends were all running around helping and swimming and drinking and carrying things- it was truly how a wedding day should be- a collaborative effort to ensure the couple has their day of days. Bianca made for a stunning bride. Her details made me smile. There is something about lanterns and starfish that strike my soul. Colin was dapper and so excited to marry his bride. The day was perfect. Without further ado, I introduce the newly wedded Axenfelds highlight wedding images! I wish you both all the sweetness life offers.
