Chavet + Eric | Camp Greenville, Pretty Place Chapel, Cedar Mountain North Carolina wedding

Chavet gives the warmest hugs. Eric gives the warmest smiles. These two are a perfect match made in heaven, a duo whose relationship and friendship is founded on respect and care, understanding and support, and just totally and completely ooey gooey REAL love. Over the year I have known Chavet one thing she kept repeating to me was how SPECIAL Eric is to her, how she waited so long just for him, how he matched her spirit and soul and how he completed her. Eric has a beautiful daughter named Kendall who was a huge part of the day. The bond between the three of them is something really special. I can tell Chavet and Kendall are going to be the best of buds here on out! What a treat it was to document Chavet and Eric's love story this past weekend, April 19, 2014. And that brings us to both North Carolina and South Carolina all the way from sunny Florida. The ceremony was set atop the Standing Stone mountain in SC called the Fred W. Symmes Chapel which is also known as "Pretty Place".  This place was awestrickenly beautiful, romantic, blissful, and just good for the soul. It was perfect for these two to wed. It blew me away! What a site to see! Though the weather was a little chilly (okay a lotta' chilly, like 30 degrees plus wind chill!), and windy, and rainy, it didn't stop these guys from having the best day of their lives. Surrounded around their special loved ones they held on tight to everyone and got married! What an experience this was for myself and my second shooter, Elena. We were so giddy to work with such lovely people, people that felt like family more than anything else. Chavet picked a color palette of soft pinks, greens, navy's and whites and really wanted a style and feel that felt as close to Motherearth as possible. She selected eucalyptus and ranunculous, anemones, and gold embellishments and it totally topped off the day to the romantic feel she was going for. What a DREAM it was to shoot. Those bouquets! That stunning champagne Love, Bridal Boutique gown, her regal hair and dainty makeup. She really was drop.dead.gorgeous. And I must add a little shout-out to their wedding coordination, Allison with WNC Weddings & Events, who worked her BUTT OFF to make sure the day ran smoothly and flawlessly despite the weather conditions. And with a smile on her face! I super puffy love nice, hardworking vendors! Goes to show you, you certainty can get by with a little help from your friends! :) Since we did not get as many portraits as we all would have wanted I have the pleasure of getting a little part II with the Mason's in the late spring/early summer months! I cannot wait! NC is just GORGEOUS, picturesque and the weather is so fresh. The scenery makes me melt and I am overjoyed to be asked back to spend more time with them. Which just means also, more pretty for them! So without further ado, enjoy this gorgeous mountain top wedding with the daintiest and most gorgeous details ever! It will really make your heart and your soul swoon a bit. :)
