There is something really special about having 'mom' friends. They GET it. And I can always rely on one of my best friends in the whole world (Amy) to be the one not rolling her eyes, always offer a supportive hand (literally) and just be there/listen to me when I am venting about the adventures of being a single mom. And no one would get how that feels any better than a single mom herself. Amy is a really special person to me and I want to tell you why. We met back in 2007 when we both went to Jacksonville University. She was my first friend there and as a matter of fact my first client-ish! I shot her sisters wedding- yes my VERY first because even way back when, when I was merely just a hobbyist photographer, she believed in my talent. That really speaks volumes now. We have been through it all- up's and down's, men in and out of our lives, pregnancy, weddings, night's out, night's in, drama and everything under the moon. We are learning what it means to be a sister to one another in these hard times and smile through it. She is more than a friend to me, she is (along with Britney!) my sister. And what is SO awesome is that our kids are more like cousins and get the opportunity to grow together. Watching the bond unfold between the two kids is honestly amazing and I CANNOT WAIT to capture more memories of our sweet blessings. I was there when Jenna was born and I have watched her grow from being a mere dot in a sonogram picture to a sassy, sweet, and way too mature for her own good 3 year old. Amy has been there for me equally. So without further ado, enjoy our little (grand!) adventure of two single moms who simply adore their little's, venturing on a life by living with passion, conviction, and real purpose! We want to give our kids a life that is full of promise, happiness, love, and adventure and we will start by a day at the zoo!
