On June 21, 2014 Giovannie and Isel held one of the most elegant, beautiful and ridiscoulsy fun weddings I have ever had the privilege of shooting. The Hispanic culture surely knows how to throw a party and my goodness, can I have an ounce of their natural dancing ability?! It was amazing to watch during the reception! Their ceremony was set at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church followed by a regal reception at The Cummer Museum in Riverside. It was so beyond beautiful! The gardens at the Cummer are a photographers dream back-drop. Brick, tasseled vines, historic statues, exotic flowers and simplistic wonder, these are some of my most favorite shots. Hints of sparkle and elegance danced around the reception hall room! It surely was a party of a reception- what a blast! Aside from the gorgeousness of the grounds and the modern-chic Cummer hall, Isel and Giovannie are the perfect ying and yang to one another and it was so sweet to witness and document. Isel has the most captivating smile and Giovannie has the kindest eyes. Their sweet relationship is built on friendship and respect and it's been so much fun getting to know these wonderful people as they planned their wedding. With tears in his eyes Giovannie was beyond himself seeing his bride for the first time as she glided down the isle, all smiles she wore with her papa on her arm. What a sweet moment that was! The newly wedded Medina's are currently on their way home from Italy (how perfect and so romantic, I can't wait to hear all about it!). I wish you two nothing but all the love and happiness of the world!
