I love a good love story. Stephanie and Kenny have one of the best ones yet. Meeting in a bar a few years back they kind of followed that whole "love at first sight" rule. Only 3 weeks of knowing one another they moved in together and have been in love and inseparable ever since. Their proposal story rocks. "My husband is in the Coast Guard and there was a USCG flag football tournament at the Seattle Seahawks Stadium. After all of the games I went down to the field to take a picture and he surprised me by dropping down to one knee. The best part was a week before he proposed, I had found the ring I wanted from Jared’s and made him look at the ring. I told him this is the one! Little did I know that same ring was hiding in our bedroom closet!" These two cuties were engaged for only 3 weeks, said I do, had a tiny elopement on April 14, 2012 and sent Kenny off for deployment. However they always wanted their dream wedding but with Kenny deployed their plans were set aside... until now. When asking Stephanie what she loved most about Kenny she said, "My husband is the most loving person. He makes me laugh and smile and be silly. He supports me in anything, loves me on all the good days and the bad days too and makes me feel like the most beautiful women in the world. Whether he’s home or away I’m his always and he’s my forever. While he said, "From the moment I saw her I felt an instant connection. She has the most amazing personality. She is one of the most kindest, selfless people you will every meet. When I leave for extended periods of time she leaves me notes in my luggage that would make the manliest of men get teary eyed. Every day she does the impossible and makes me love her even more. She is my other half, without her I would be completely lost."
Their BIG day was set at Hanna Park this past weekend with the gorgeous beach as their backdrop! The rain held out, the sun was calm and we were given the prettiest, most ethereal lighting. With a few details here and there, in shades of tans and soft pinks, The Roy's wanted to create an intimate affair surrounded around their closest loved ones. Their family was very instrumental throughout the day. From setting up, cooking, and even serving, they all worked together as one amazing seamless team. After two years of married bliss, they have this family thing down! Their guests traveled from all over the country for this- how cool! From New York and Washington State they were all excited to be apart of their big day! They are surely loved. What an honor it was to witness and document their special day for them. I wish the Roy's nothing but love and happiness as they continue their beautiful fairy tale together.
